Introducing RISE

LNKS Luanda Music Group is launching RISE, a programme for new Angolan artists whose music is already moving.

There are no auditions and no application form. Our team finds RISE artists on our own roster, through labels and managers who put their artists forward, and through music shared with #RISEbyLNKS, based on what they are already doing on their own: the songs they release, the shows they play and the audience they are building.

What a RISE artist gets

Each artist works with all four divisions of the group at the same time. LNKS Records plans every release, LNKS Studios gives them time to record and finish their music, LNKS Publishing registers and protects their songs, and LNKS Management looks after live dates and partnerships.

The first artist

The first artist on RISE is Duda Marcolino, a singer and songwriter from Lubango who now lives and works in Luanda. Read why we chose her.

Meet the class of 2026 on the RISE page. If you think you could be next, post your music with #RISEbyLNKS. Everything else is in our full guide to RISE.
