Terms of Use
These terms apply when you use this website. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

Who runs this website
This website is run by LNKS Luanda Music Group, part of LNKS, a UK record label with its head office in Manchester and an office in London. LNKS opened an office in Luanda, Angola, and created LNKS Luanda Music Group there. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean LNKS Luanda Music Group and LNKS. You can contact us at lnksluandamusicgroup@gmail.com.
These terms apply to every page of this website, in English and in Portuguese. By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Using this website
You are welcome to read, link to and share the pages of this website for your own personal, non commercial use. When using it, you must not:
- copy or collect content or data from the site by automated means, such as scraping, crawling for reuse or bulk downloading;
- cast automated, fake or multiple votes on the RISE chart, or try to manipulate it in any other way;
- misuse the contact form or our email address, for example by sending spam, abusive messages or malicious files;
- try to break, overload or get around the security of the site or the systems behind it;
- pretend to be LNKS, LNKS Luanda Music Group, one of our artists or one of our people, or suggest that you are connected with us when you are not;
- use the site in any way that is unlawful or harms other people.
We may block access to anyone who breaks these rules.
Intellectual property
The text, photos, artwork, videos, music and design on this website belong to LNKS Luanda Music Group, to our artists or to the photographers and other creators who made them. LNKS, LNKS Luanda Music Group, RISE and #RISEbyLNKS are our brand names.
Photos of our artists belong to the artists, to LNKS or to the photographers credited on the page. Some photos on our homepage are free stock photos from Pexels, used under the Pexels licence; we have edited their colours to match our brand, and the rights in them stay with the photographers who took them.
You may read, link to and share our pages. You may not copy, adapt, publish, sell or otherwise reuse any content or brand name from this site without our written permission. To ask for permission, or to tell us about content you believe infringes your rights so that we can review it and take it down where appropriate, email lnksluandamusicgroup@gmail.com.
No demos or unsolicited material
We do not accept demos, unsolicited music or other creative material. Anything sent to us without our request is not reviewed. Sending it creates no obligation on us of any kind, and no claim against us if we or our artists later release work that seems similar.
Our four divisions, LNKS Records, LNKS Publishing, LNKS Management and LNKS Studios, work only for our signed artists. The public cannot book our studio.
No offer of a contract
Nothing on this website is an offer to enter into a contract. Any deal with an artist, partner, investor or licensee is made only by a separate written agreement.
If you would like to license one of our artists' songs, you can ask about it through our contact page as a general enquiry. Any licence is granted only by a separate written agreement.
The information on our investors page is for information only. It is not an offer of, or an invitation to buy, shares or any other investment.
RISE and the RISE chart
RISE is our programme for new artists. Being on RISE never costs money: we never charge an artist to be featured or considered.
Where voting is switched on, the following rules apply to the RISE chart:
- you can vote on the RISE chart page or on the vote card on a RISE artist's page, and both count towards the same chart;
- each person may vote once a day;
- there is no prize, and a chart position is not an offer of a contract;
- we may remove votes that we reasonably believe are fraudulent, automated or duplicated;
- we may change, pause or end the chart, or change these rules, at any time.
Links and embedded players
This website links to other sites, such as Instagram, Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, Deezer, TikTok, Facebook, X and LinkedIn. Some artist pages let you play YouTube videos or 30 second Apple Music song previews. These services are run by other companies, their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for their content or how they work. They load nothing until you click or press play.
Scams and impersonation
People sometimes pretend to be record labels to take money from artists and job seekers. Our only official channels are the email address lnksluandamusicgroup@gmail.com and the Instagram account @lnksluandamusicgroup. We have no mobile app.
We never charge a fee to sign an artist, to feature on RISE, to apply for a job or to attend an interview, and we never ask for payment details by message. If anyone asks you for money in our name, do not pay, and report it to lnksluandamusicgroup@gmail.com.
Availability and accuracy
We work to keep this website available and its information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that the site will always be available, free of errors or free of viruses. Information on the site is general and may change without notice, so please do not rely on it as the basis for any decision without checking with us first.
Our liability
This website is provided free of charge. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content, including indirect loss, loss of profit or loss of data.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited by law. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights.
Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and our Cookie Policy explains what this website stores in your browser.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you live in Scotland, Northern Ireland or another country, you keep the protection of any mandatory rules of the law where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in your local courts where that law allows.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and the version on this page is the one that applies. These terms are also available in Portuguese.
